Lynette Yiadom-Boakye is a British-Ghanaian artist and writer known for her evocative oil paintings of fictional Black subjects.

Her portraits, created entirely from imagination, explore themes of identity, temporality, and storytelling, existing outside specific historical or cultural contexts.

Working with a muted yet expressive palette, she captures fleeting moments of introspection and quiet intimacy, inviting viewers to construct their own narratives around her figures.

This is her first solo presentation in London since her solo exhibition at Tate Britain in 2023.

Corvi-Mora, London

Closes 1st March '25
